| Flame retardant Means the fabric has been treated to make the material fire retardant. All of the safety vests offered on the website are flame retardant and have that stated on the inside vest label. Flame resistant Means the fabric is naturally flame resistant and does not require any extra treatment. We now offer an arc (flame resistant) vest; however, they are more expensive than the standard vest.
