The Kevlar® 18-inch sleeves on this page are nearly identical to some of the other products that we carry, but they offer a longer size, so they’re able to fit a wider range of arm sizes. Like our 14-inch sleeves, these products come with a thumbhole, so you’ll be able to use your thumb while wearing them.
This is especially important when you’re handling work duties that require the use of every finger. Like our gloves, they’re made with 100 percent Kevlar®. To protect your upper arms, the Kevlar® sleeves are made in various lengths. They’re also made from two-ply material, which significantly increases the durability of the products.
The Kevlar® 18-inch sleeves can be used for almost any application, but they’re commonly used for glass handling, electrical work, food processing and metal processing. Kevlar® products feature a string knit mesh design, and the material is perfect for applications that require cut resistance. Aside from heavy-duty denim, Kevlar® is one of the best materials available for cut resistance.
It’s comprised of very strong individual fibers. It offers excellent abrasion and cut resistance. The sleeves on this page work well for manufacturing, metal processing and light heat applications because these types of work expose workers to hazards that Kevlar® protects against.
