Some applications require more protection than you can get from your safety glasses. For these applications, consider the universal side shields on this page. Unlike some of our other products, these side shields are designed for smaller safety glasses.

For better glare reduction, they feature a smoke lens tint. They’re sold as individual pairs, but you can order as many pairs as you need. If you’re looking for excellent UV protection, you can get it from these glasses.

They’ll protect your face against the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation, and for optimal protection against UV, a UVS additive has been applied to every pair. With the special additive, these side shields deliver UV protection up to 380 nanometers. Since they’re created for universal conformity, they’ll fit most types of frames.

An additional benefit of choosing these side shields over other products is the quick change feature. These universal side shields can be installed or removed very quickly and don’t require the use of tools. Since they’ve been tested and passed ANSI Z87 specifications, you can rest assured that they’ll protect your face.

The B-27+™ Universal Sideshield is designed to meet all of the compliance issues of ANSI Z87.1-2003 on small to medium safety frames. The CC-26 comfort cushions allow custom facial fitting that minimizes injuries from wind blown particulates (installation optional). Smoke Tint reduces objectionable distractions from glare, increasing visual comfort and productivity.
